Sell-a-bella

My sister-in-law recently passed the exam to get her real estate license, so when I saw Sell-a-bella at The Ink Spot, I just had to have her!! Hopefully, she will sell lots of houses and I can make her lots of cards with this cute little gal!! She is a fun one to color in!

Stamps by Stamping Bella, everything else by SU! except the Prima and the white brad!

Quick card

I whipped this little baby up after looking at Kristina Werner's blog again today ... do you feel the inspiration?? That girl has skillz!! I kept wanting to add more - but I controlled myself! I did manage to use some ribbon that I have been hoarding!!

Stamp by SU! (retired), CS by SU!, ribbon from Michael's.

A*Muse*A*Palooza Goodies!!

I wasn't going to post pictures of my goodies (Gluttony, thy name is Tisha) but, what the heck! Here they are! I had so much fun at The Ink Spot, and I can't wait to go back!

Here are the new (and a couple oldies) A Muse stamps, and the new notecards! I love the new colors!
Here are some *awesome* sheets of paper that I picked up at another "shall-remain-nameless-'cuz-I-wasn't-really-impressed" St. Louis craft store. The punch and the top two sheets of paper came from The Ink Spot! The stamps say "bad hair day" and "oh-so-fabulous". Thanks for looking! I really need to get these babies inked up!!

Simple invite

I am such a sucker ... I feel so honored when someone actually wants to pay me for my stamping that I get all choked up and forget the most important word in the English language ... NO! I really shouldn't complain ... it's easy work - I just tend to let everything else (you know ... cleaning, cooking, showering ...) fall by the wayside until the job is done! I was at work on Tuesday, and one of the girls at work asked me if I could make birthday invites for her son ... by Thursday! I should have said NO WAY! but I am a sucker - so I just told her they would have to be simple!! So here it is ... pretty cute, I think! I am also really bad at charging an appropriate amount for my work ... what do you think I should charge for 20 of these with envelopes?? Thanks for looking!

Stamps by SU!, CS by SU! and Papersource, punch by SU!

I rock!!

I feel so lucky ... Michelle (she's one Crazy Stamp Chick!!) voted for me for Rockin' Girl Blogger!! I am so new to blogging - it makes me feel so blessed to have "met" so many amazing people. A big shout-out needs to go to Linda and the A Muse crew for pushing me into blogging with A*Muse*A*Palooza (I miss it already, how 'bout you?)! I love seeing what others are doing - checking in on their lives! I will be the first to admit that I am not always the best at leaving comments and telling people what I think ... I need to work on that! So, some of the people that I will vote for today may not know who I am, but please know that I really enjoy your blogs and look forward to getting to know you better! The other challenge will be not voting for people that have already been voted for!!

1. First and foremost, my number one bestest friend and partner in all things crafty, Sarah B at Suki's Blog! She rocks - I love her on so many levels - I could go on and on all day long!!

2. I love Angie at Chic n' Scratch! She is so sweet ... and has the greatest southern accent! When I read her blog posts - I can just hear her great voice!!

3. Kristina Werner at kwernerdesign blog ... one of the most visually pleasing blogs that I visit! She does things with SU! sets that I would never think of ... just absolutely beautiful designs! I wish I was going to convention this year so I could swap with her - her swaps are amazing!! And she is very funny, too!

4. Jenny K at Paper Daisy Chain (or now it seems to be A Little Bit of This Plus A Little Bit of That But Always 100% Me - hey, I can respect the blog name change!). She has some great cards - I love the bella card here! Plus, I really relate to a lot of her posts as a mom!

5. Emily at Stamping Scoops ... I know she is like, A Muse Royalty, and all ... hopefully she won't mind being nominated! I just love her cards ... such fun uses for my favorite A Muse stamps!!

Thanks again to Michelle!

Blog changes

Okay, faithful readers ... you may have noticed that I changed things up a bit on my blog! I started this whole blog thing because of A*Muse*A*Palooza, but now it's over ...! Now what?? My title had to change ... my sidebar will be empty ... I am not a computer genius, so I can't make it pretty ... so bear with me! I have a vision of what I want my blog to look like, I just have to figure it out! My amazing friend Sarah is going to help - right??? I am so lucky to have a friend who is an amazing stamper and a computer genius!! Don't give up on me yet ...!!

Mini card class ...

Pocket card - closed.
Pocket card - open!!

I made this card for our friend's 5th birthday, using the template here! It was super easy, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out!!

Stamps by A Muse, CS by SU!, ribbon by SU! and May Arts, Punches by Marvy!

A*Muse*A*Palooza Fun at The Ink Spot!!

Okay, I am a bit delayed in getting this post up (but let's face it - anyone that is reading this has already read about all the fun we had on Sarah's blog!) - but here are the pictures of all the fun we had in St. Louis at The Ink Spot!! I just loved that store! Julie was such a sweetheart, and they really did it up big for all us crazy stampers!! Would you like white wine or pink wine with your stamps today?? We got there on Thursday evening, did a little pre-shopping, then experienced the big reveal of new A Muse images!! I was not disappointed!! Everything was just wonderful!! We made a fun make-n-take on Thursday, then went back on Friday for 2 more classes! All of them were lots and lots of fun!! Thanks to Julie, Barb, Maggie and all the other Ink Spot gals for showing us Kansas girls a good time!! We'll be back soon! Here are my pics from the festivities!

Me, Aura and Sarah in front of The Ink Spot (isn't that the cutest building!)
Clockwise from the top - Aura, Sarah and Me with our make-n-take cards!
Some other lovely ladies at The Ink Spot (they were kind enough to take our pictures, so we thought we'd return the favor!) Sorry, I didn't get your names, but Thanks again for helping us out!
Sarah and I with Barb, the instructor for our A Muse classes! Such a sweet gal!
Sarah and I with Julie, the amazing owner of The Ink Spot! We had so much fun talking with her! We will be back to visit soon! (By the way - I have no idea what that orange thing growing out of my head is, so we will just choose to ignore it!)

I still need to take some pictures of all my goodies - I will try to get that posted later on today!

Less than 12 hours to new stamps!!

Hey now, you're a stamp star, get your game on, Let's play!!! (My hubby had recorded that new show "The Singing Bee" for us on Tuesday when I was working - one of the songs was that "Hey now, you're an all star, get your game on, LET' PLAY" song, and it's been stuck in my head since I saw it last night - with slightly different words!!) I am up early, getting the last few things together to hit the road and head to St. Louis for the closest A*Muse*A*Palooza event!! Sarah, Aura and I are meeting up at The Ink Spot for a VIP event tonight - the big reveal!!- and a couple of classes tomorrow!! I am squashing all Mommy guilt and leaving all 3 kids at home with Daddy and Grandma!! Yeah!! I am so excited!! I will take lots of pictures and post them when we get home!! Hopefully, I will have enough money to pay for gas on the way home ...!!

Never fit a challenge ...

I made this awesome card set for my mother for Mother's Day this year, and I have held off posting it, hoping that it would fit nicely into some special AMAP challenge, but it never did (I could have used them for the punch or ribbon challenge - but I was hoping for something else!) Anyway - I used Cambria's basic ideas for her One Sheet Wonder, which is actually from the SU! demonstrator magazine, Stampin' Success - but I didn't really like it until I saw what Cambria did with it! I switched up some of the layouts, and used all A Muse stamps for the main images and sentiments!! I got 14 cards out of one sheet of designer series paper! And they were super quick and easy! Think simple, think A Muse!! If I were an A Muse instructor, I would teach this as a Stamp-A-Stack in a heartbeat!! You can see in the pics how many of each design I did! Thanks for looking!

Super ATC!!

This little guy is for the last ATC swap over at Miss Sarah B's blog! Required a bit of work with the old stamp-a-ma-jig, but I think it's worth it! Thanks for looking!

Stamps by A Muse, CS, ribbon, ink by SU!, punch by Marvy, SU paper punch.

Another one for #10

Just a quick ATC - love the Little Things stamp!!

Stamps by A Muse, CS by SU, ribbon by SU!, paper from that monster stack at Costco

Here's my improvements on the chipboard coaster idea!! I will admit that it probably more than doubles the cost, but it really is better!! That big clip at the top?? Monster strong magnet! Now this handy dandy thing can hang on the fridge, or wherever! I used crystal effects to hold the paper to the metal, then put a glob on top of the flower on the clip! What I really need are the Creative Candy A Muse stickers, but I don't have them (insert sad face here!) I hope to pick some up next week at AMAP events! What do you think? Sorry for the blurry pic - I was rushing!!

Blogger will not let me add a title - poohy - we'll see what happens anyway!! Thanks for looking!

I'm honored!!

I have been tagged!! Blogging for less than 2 months, and I've been tagged! I feel so honored! Unfortunately, I am working back to back 12 hour shifts this weekend, plus dealing with sick kiddos and trying to go out with a BANG in the AMAP Ambassador competition, so I am going to wait until probably Monday morning to properly address my tag!! I am going to go stamp for an hour or so!! So, thanks Michelle, for tagging me ... I will do it really soon! Run over and check out Michelle's blog ... it's awesome!

By the way - my AMAP shirt came - I will post a pic soon - I think Sarah B and I will have matching ones on at The Ink Spot in St. Louis on Thursday ... less than a week away ... I can't wait!!

First the Catalog, now this!!

This is the summer of excitement!! First, I was waiting with bated breath for the Stampin' Up! catalog - well, that came, and I am thrilled to have it in my hands (although I am trying to control myself and not order anything until I see the new A Muse stamps next week!) Which leads me to the next 2 things that I am anxiously awaiting!! First, I NEED my A*Muse*A*Palooza t-shirt!! Supposedly, it shipped on Monday ... but I want it now! I just watched my UPS man drive by, he waved, but didn't stop! I have to have that, then I can start being barely able to wait for my trip to St. Louis next week for A*Muse*A*Palooza! I can't believe it is almost here!! I'll just have to stamp to pass the time!!

Name frame and card!

This would be just perfect for this week's challenge ... unfortunately, I didn't use a single A Muse stamp on the frame (I know, what was I thinking!) Our friends Matt & Michelle just moved into a really great new house, and I made this as a housewarming present for them! Michelle is an amazing decorator, but I think I hit her colors well enough! This was really easy to make - love that Basic Gray paper!!

Here's a close up of the frame:
and the card:
Details: Stamps by A Muse and SU!, paper by Basic Gray, CS by SU!, ribbon by Basic Gray and SU!, brads and stuff by SU!, flowers by Prima, chipboard by SU!.

Challenge #10 - #2

This is my first attempt at a coaster clipboard dealie! I was inspired by Angie (check out her awesome blog here!)! It was really easy, but I think I may have an idea to improve it! Check back later to see what I come up with!!
Stamp by A Muse, Paper by Basic Gray, ribbon by SU!, brads from Hobby Lobby, clips from Cargo Largo!, really bad photo by yours truly!

Challenge #10 - #1

Here's a quick tag that I made for a friend's wedding gift! I embossed the dress with Irridecent Ice EP - looks much more sparkly in real life! The sentiment is done with the Karen Foster 1/8th inch Snap Stamps - I heard a rumor that these have been discontinued??? Anyone know more?
Stamp by A Muse, punches by Marvy, ribbon by SU! (oh, how I will miss the silver cord!), CS by SU!

Challenge #10 is Up!!

I can't believe that it is almost over ... but it is! Challenge #10 (which I assume will be the last one!) is up on the A*Muse*A*Palooza blog!! It is right up my alley ... ANYTHING BUT A CARD!! I love to make things other than cards ... ATC's, clipboards, frames, etc, etc! I usually make things, then give them away ... this week, I am going to make something for ME!! Go check out this post, and get your craft on! Can't wait to see what everyone does!
